Hawaiʻi Green Growth's Annual Reports

Since 2011, Hawai'i Green Growth UN Local2030 Hub (HGG) has worked to establish a public-private partnership committed to advancing economic, social, and environmental priorities. This effort is driven by the Aloha+ Challenge, a statewide commitment to achieve Hawai‘i’s sustainability and climate goals and the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

HGG continues to provide accountability and measure progress on this commitment through the Aloha+ Dashboard.

2025 Annual Report

The 2025 Hawaiʻi Green Growth Annual Report highlights a year of organizational navigation of global, statewide, and internal change, including the welcoming of new CEO Kalani L. Kaʻanāʻanā. Amidst this change, HGG celebrated big wins in 2025, which included a Senate Concurrent Resolution reaffirming support for the Aloha+ Challenge and the submission of the third statewide Voluntary Local Review (VLR). Notably, HGGʻs work also supported projects, partners, and initiatives across the state: the Maui Resilience Partnership, the Follow the Drop Program, and the Care for ʻĀina Now (CAN) Coalition, which celebrated the successful passage of the first US Green Fee. Hawaiʻi Green Growth continues to steward the Aloha+ Goals, and much of its cross-sectoral work as a convenor and conversation connector will continue in 2026 as the organization undertakes a new strategic plan towards 2030, which it began in the latter half of 2025 through dialogue with the Network.
