Measures Action Group

The Measures Action Group leads a stakeholder-driven process to maintain the Aloha+ Challenge Dashboard and update statewide indicators which track progress, provide accountability, and ensure transparency on Hawaiʻi’s economic, social, and environmental priorities.

Members of the group provide:

expertise on data and progress tracking towards the goals;
updates around current and new reporting mechanisms, studies, and research;
support for the development of innovative mechanisms to close and supplement reporting gaps or insufficient data (e.g., community-driven data) and tools for decision-makers

The group supports the data and trends review process behind the biennial creation of Hawaiʻi’s Voluntary Local Reviews.

The group supports ongoing review and updates to the Aloha+ Dashboard metrics.

Highlighting Action Spotlights on progress towards the goals through bridging data and storytelling.

The group aligns with the Mission of the Hawaiʻi Data Task Force to enhance decision-making and reporting across departments, ensure compliance, secure necessary resources, and advocate for data initiatives to the legislature and public through the State’s efforts of developing and implementing the State’s data policies, procedures, and standards.
