Hawaiʻi Green Growth Action Groups

Hawaiʻi Green Growth’s Action Groups are focused, results-driven, cross-sector collaborations open to all sustainability champions in Hawaiʻi working to advance shared Aloha+ Goals. Action Groups identify clear leadership, defined deliverables and action steps, and shared accountability. Stay tuned as these groups continue to take shape and evolve alongside the Hawaiʻi Green Growth Annual Action Plans.

Youth Council

The Hawaiʻi SDG Youth Council is a group of high-school leaders from across the state serving as advisors to, advocates for, and peer-to-peer champions of the Aloha+ Challenge. The Council shares their manaʻo for the future they want for Hawaiʻi and takes direct action to bring it to light legislatively, in the loʻi and on the stage at the local, state, national, and global levels.

The Measures Action Group leads a stakeholder-driven process to maintain the Aloha+ Challenge Dashboard and update statewide indicators which track progress, provide accountability, and ensure transparency on Hawaiʻi’s economic, social, and environmental priorities.

The Sustainability Business Forum (SBF) is a voluntary peer-to-peer network of business executives who are taking the initiative to shape a sustainable future for Hawaiʻi. SBF members share a deep commitment to our island home, and a desire to drive private-sector action to achieve Hawai‘i’s statewide sustainability goals.
