He Nohona ‘Ae‘oia  A Culture of Sustainability • Hawai‘i’s SDGs

The Hawaiʻi Green Growth Local2030 Hub is a public-private partnership committed to advancing economic, social and environmental goals. The hub highlights islands as leaders in innovation, providing a holistic approach to solutions grounded in a legacy of systems thinking.

The Aloha+ Challenge builds on island culture and values and is Hawai‘i’s locally-driven framework to implement the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. We work to accelerate the Aloha+ Challenge and scale local solutions to build a more resilient and sustainable future for Island Earth.

This year, Hawaiʻi has published the first comprehensive statewide Voluntary Local Review (VLR). This review provides Hawaiʻi with 2020 benchmark data to inform action needed over the next decade to achieve its 2030 sustainability goals.
