Trent Domingo is the Dashboard Lab AmeriCorps VISTA for Hawaiʻi Green Growth, updating key indicators on the Aloha+ Dashboard and guiding student-led projects to achieve Hawaiʻi’s sustainable development goals. Born and raised in Nānākuli, Oʻahu, Trent has cultivated a great respect for the natural world and the communities that inhabit it. Studying deep ocean dynamics, Trent graduated from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, with B.S. in Global Environmental Science. Trent previously served with the Oʻahu Invasive Species Committee, where he protected natural resources by eradicating plants and pests through wilderness terrain. He aims to leverage science and community to better Hawaiʻi and, in his free time, volunteers for ʻāina workdays, public events, and local boards.
