Kimberly is an intern with Hawaiʻi Green Growth working on updating the policy and legislation section of the solid waste reduction target for the Aloha+ Challenge Goals. Currently an undergraduate student at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa studying Interdisciplinary Studies in Sustainability and will receive her BA in Fall 2024. She has prior research experience working with the Institute of Sustainability and Resilience gathering policy and legislation documents to create a new inventory within the sea level rise policy matrix project worked on in Summer 2024. She has a passion for working in the climate sector ensuring community voices will be heard when making new policies in climate adaptation.
