Eric’s leadership experience includes serving as the inaugural Chairperson of the County of Hawaiʻi Youth Commission, where he drafted the original bylaws, chaired meetings, set policy priorities, and advocated for impactful legislation, including a successful bill to ban the sale of flavored nicotine products. Passionate about youth empowerment, Eric believes that the voice of young people is a critical force for change, particularly in Hawaiʻi. His work continues to focus on ensuring that youth have a seat at the table in shaping policies and decisions that affect their future.
