Cate Labas is a Senior at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, graduating this December with a Interdisciplinary Studies BA Degree in Sustainability. Cate looks forward to joining the team at Hawaiʻi Green Growth this semester and progressing the goals of the Aloha+ Challenge. Her favorite quote is "be the change you wish to see in the world" from Mahatma Gandi. Working with Hawaiʻi Green Growth will help her become a part of the change towards a more sustainable and innovative future. After graduation she is looking forward to continuing her work in sustainable practices and focus on areas of education and community outreach.
